“A cocoon of safety”
“Bounce off trucks in your Babel Bicycle”
The Babel Bike is the first bicycle to be built from the ground up with safety foremost in mind.
The rider wears a car-style seat belt and unlike any other bicycle on the market it has a custom built safety cell in which the rider sits, protecting against impacts with turning lorries and buses at busy junctions, which accounts for over 50% of all cycle fatalities. The Babel Bike also has the highest level of primary safety equipment built into a bike with built-in front and rear lights, indicators, hazard flashers, brake lights, a loud car horn and rear view mirrors.
It comes in electric and non-electric versions. The electric versions having a range of up to 80 miles, electrically assisting you at speeds up to 15.5 miles per hour.
